Buying a Home

Have you ever seen a home under construction in Pocatello with a PNHS sign out front?  Did you know that when we help people to buy homes, it's not just those?  (But if you're interested, you can see which of our homes are currently for sale.)

The PNHS HomeOwnership Center has helped people to buy homes all over Pocatello--homes that they found on the market themselves.  In fact, since 1994 we've helped more than 500 families to buy their first homes.  

PNHS makes home purchase more accessible by:

• offering low-interest loans to cover down payment and reasonable closing costs,
• offering innovative loan products, and
• working with local lenders to help customers find affordable purchase loans.

PNHS customers are well prepared for home ownership.  Customers who come in the door with credit or debt issues can receive free counseling or go through the Financial Fitness program to make sure they have the confidence and skills to stay on top of their finances.  Homebuyer Education is a part of all PNHS purchase programs.
