Plans are underway for the annual May Pole Weaving

Lewis & Clark Neighborhood Assets:

  • The fun & fitness center of the city.  Lewis & Clark Neighborhood has the community rec center, and several athletic and recreational centers.  Between them you can find a rock climbing wall, a fantastic pool, racquet ball, dance classes, simulated golf and baseball pitch, laser tag, an arcade, mini-put, inflatable toys and more.
  • A beautiful park strip runs near the railway tracks lined with Russian elms.  The magnificent color patterns in the autumn make this a favorite landmark of the neighborhood.
  • You can't get more central that the Lewis & Clark and the Alameda Neighborhoods.  Together, they made up the old City of Alameda, which was incorporated into Pocatello in 1960.  The move made these neighborhoods the center of the Pocatello/Chubbuck community.  You want easy access, walk-able neighborhoods, central location move here!
  • Neighborhood Traditions abound in the Lewis & Clark Neighborhood.  Traveling through the calendar you can celebrate May Pole Weaving, Flag Raising on Flag Day, an Old Alameda Days Picnic and game night and Christmas Caroling delivering Candy Cane Awards to homes with the holiday spirit.  Get involved to work and play with your neighbors!
